Dear Chris I just had to let u know how pleased Iam with my teeth.I think u may have cured my fear of dentists,I don’t know if it was the diazepam kicking In or what! But I didn’t feel the needle go I’n my gums or the tooth coming out! I’m so proud of myself for actually sitting in that chair without being sedated u truly are a gentle dentist Chris and I can’t thank u enough,I’m even thinking of not having tablets to calm me next time as I know Im not going feel the needle. I’d also like to thank the lovely lady on reception that day, can’t remember her name Sorry! She was very calming and sympathetic towards my fear.honestly Chris u don’t realise what this means for me to be able to sit I’n the dentist chair, I’m gonna make sure I take extra care with my teeth know. Once again thank u so much Chris for being a gentle dentist,I’m over the moon Many many thanx Karen Grainger

I’ve started to use a new composite (white) filling material. Called Ceram-X Duo and Mono it is very strong but provides a good shade match with natural tooth tissue.

Up and Coming Courses update

1. “Fibredontics -minimally invasive dentistry” -September 16th.

This is the latest minimally invasive technique which should let me preserve and restore your smile completely painlessly.

2. Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling -beginning end of October 2011.

If you want help with your phobias, fears and bad habits I will be able to do so (free of charge while I’m undertaking the course). I will need volunteers to help me complete the course.

3. “Clearstep” -this is an orthodontic technique similar to Invisalign which uses a series of clear plastic mouthguards to re-align your smile.

I’ve made enquiries into this so I’ll keep you posted.

New Patients in June

In June we saw a grand total of 32 new patients of whom 17 were grateful to receive treatment for their toothache on the same day that they called us.

24 of these new patients were referred to me by existing clients who receive a voucher worth £25.00 for each referral.
